Norcia (PG) - For four days the streets of Norcia, November 1 to 3, already intoxicated by the scents of the typical products will be further "invaded" as the best welcome ham producers in the international consortia that protect the most important brands of hams and Norcini best of Italy. The event, created to promote the history and culture of the great butchery, is the first edition, but aims to become an annual event to Norcia.

The intent is to offer a curious and passionate, as well as to professionals the opportunity to taste and learn about the true excellence of these noble productions and learn all about the know-how of the producers.

You will find the "Cloister of Hams", with stands of selected producers, in collaboration with experts from the Gambero Rosso, workshops on bread, wine and craft beers of the territory, handicraft production of cutting knives, slicers and a presentation by the historic Berkel scales, many tastings to compare national and international productions. Sunday, November 3, in Preci, will be organized guided tours of the Historical Museum of Surgical School Preciana, to learn about the origins and history of charcuterie.
